Temple Nights

  • October 1st - Ward Temple Night

The First Thursday of every month at the Taylorsville Temple, 4:30PM, any ordinance. Appointments can be made here. 

  • October 17th - Stake Temple Night

YSA in the Salt Lake Valley are invited to attend the Jordan River Temple the Third Saturday of every month from 6PM-Close. All ordinances - baptisms, initiatory, endowment, and sealing - will be available, and no appointments are necessary. Refreshments are served afterward in the church next door (10124 S 1300 W) from 7-11PM.

  • Institute Parking September 21st-October 2nd

The SLCC Institute will be cracking down on parking for the next two weeks! Park in the appropriate lots so you don't get a ticket:

September 21st-26th: Lot E (south of the institute)

September 28th-October 2nd: Lot F (west of the institute)

  • September 27th - Devotion & Discourse: Sister Dayle Elieson, 7PM

We will be having another Devotion & Discourse Sunday, September 27th at 7PM at the Taylorsville Institute Building. Sister Dayle Elieson will be speaking. All are invited, but sisters are especially welcome!

  • October 3rd-4th - General Conference

“General conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as Church leaders give counsel and direction from the Lord,” states the First Presidency. “We encourage all to listen to, study, ponder, and apply the counsel given.”

All conference sessions will be streamed live on the broadcasts page of ChurchofJesusChrist.org and Gospel Library in 80 languages, the General Conference YouTube channel in 14 languages, and other radio, television, satellite, and digital channels.

* The Elder's Quorums from the Bennion, Jordan River and Taylorsville Wards will have a watch party at the Institute.

  • Stake Co-Ed Volleyball: Thursdays at the Magna Building, 7731 W 3500 S, Magna, UT 84044. Open Court at 7PM in Court A.

Visitor's Center

The Visitor's Center is now open from 9AM-9PM, accessible from the East Side (West Side opening soon). The Temple Square Grounds are open from 7AM-10PM daily.

Tours

Reservations are recommended for the Salt Lake Temple Open House Tour during the celebration (April 5 to Oct 1, 2027). Walk-up reservations will be limited and on a first-come, first-serve bases.
